The Merry Pranksters intend to:

1: encourage the unification of a community of like-minded individuals.

noun the process of being united or made into a whole.

2: express creativity through painting and being painted.

3: challenge the face-paint discourse - is it simply superficial decoration or is it more meaningful?

4: strip away personal boundaries.

5: connect independent art-forms.

6: create a psychedelic spanner in the works.

The merry pranksters journey began

on a bus that was jam-packed with wonderful beings

who spread psychedelic magic

wherever they went

by embracing

vibrant colour,

instinctive curiousity

and each other.

48 years after the bus left it's home

came two new fervent merry souls

who wanted to take their enthrallemtent with colour

to similar lengths

as those who had come before.

The synthesis of burly blues with buoyant greens

eye brows, smiles and frenzied browns

these two merry pranksters

wish to

harmonize

faces

and sound.
